Mansfield House by Field Office Architecture: A Resilient Rural Home

Field Office Architecture has completed Mansfield House, a 300 m² residence on a ridgeline property near Mansfield in Victoria, Australia. Designed for a young family, the house prioritizes durability, thermal resilience, and a gentle integration with the surrounding landscape of rolling farmland, mature red gums, and expansive views. Completed in 2025, the project was curated by Miwa Negoro and photographed by Sean Fennessy. The architects aimed to foster a slower, more grounded approach to rural living.
