Manon de Boer Screenings Open Workshop at Friedl Kubelka School

The Friedl Kubelka School for Independent Film is set to host a workshop featuring Manon de Boer, starting with a screening at the Blickle Cinema in Vienna. The lineup includes her films 'Resonating Surfaces' (2005), 'Dissonant' (2010), and 'Persona' (2022), which stars Latifa Laâbissi, along with a trailer by Isabella Brunäcker. De Boer’s work explores themes of bodies, voices, sounds, and movement in film, focusing on how perception and time shape our experiences. After the screening, there will be a discussion and Q&A with de Boer, along with Philipp Fleischmann, the school's director, and curator Stefanie Reisinger from Belvedere 21. The event is free but requires a ticket and is in collaboration with Belvedere 21.
