Magnifica Air to Launch Private-Class Airline with Airbus Corporate Jets in Spring 2027

Wade Black, an entrepreneur with a history in the airline sector and former board member of Flexjet and Seven Bar Aviation, has launched Magnifica Air. This new airline is set to operate Airbus Corporate Jets from specially designed terminals across the US, with its debut scheduled for spring 2027, featuring an initial route from Miami to New York. By the end of next year, seven aircraft are expected to be in service, with a total of 25 projected within five years. Each jet will accommodate up to 54 passengers, with profitability achievable at 40. Tickets will range from 1.5 to two times the standard first-class fare, influenced by demand. The jets, costing around $20 million each, will include luxurious amenities and a $2 million air purification system. Dedicated lounges will facilitate check-in and security up to 30 minutes before departure, with additional routes planned to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, and Houston, alongside seasonal offerings to the Caribbean and major events. The airline also seeks collaborations with established carriers for international long-haul flights.
