Made in Situ: Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance Brings Seven Portuguese Collections to Galerie des Gobelins

exhibition · 2026-10-09

For the first time, all seven collections from Made in Situ, established by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance in Portugal, are showcased by the Mobilier national. After a successful tenure in Paris, Duchaufour-Lawrance relocated to Lisbon in 2017 and founded his studio in 2020, challenging conventional luxury design by prioritizing local territory and artisans. The showcased collections feature materials such as black clay from Tondela, cork, azulejos, beeswax from Fátima, schist stone, caretos masks, and a new line utilizing cork oak from the Maures massif. The exhibition also includes olfactory art by Daphné Bugey and a soundtrack composed by Moullinex. It will be open from October 9 to November 29, 2026, at the Galerie des Gobelins in Paris, with admission priced at €8, €7 reduced, and free for those under 18.
