MacGuffin at Space ZeroOne Pairs Five Korean Artists with Five Art Omi Writers
From October 8 to December 19, 2026, Space ZeroOne will present an exhibition called MacGuffin: Five Korean Artists and Five Writers from Art Omi. The event pairs five writers with five visual artists to create inspiring works. Jenny Jisun Kim, an artist and translator, developed an installation based on Pemi Aguda’s story about a woman dealing with a gated wall. During the performance Accelerate me into the light, 2026, Goyoson showcased Matilda reading a piece by Lisa Brennan-Jobs while Ian Ha engaged with a car-like sculpture. Edward Gauvin wrote a poem responding to Dongho Kang’s empty interiors. Jongwan Jang explored Jordan Kisner’s night-walk passage, and Ha examined Nadia Owusu’s The Crossing, highlighting the theme of selective collaboration.
