MACCA in Peccioli Adds Works by Franco Marrocco and Vittorio Corsini on October 10
On October 10, the MACCA – Museo d'Arte Contemporanea a Cielo Aperto in Peccioli will enhance its collection of over 70 artworks during the 2026 Giornata del Contemporaneo by incorporating pieces from Franco Marrocco and Vittorio Corsini. Marrocco's piece, L'Eco del bosco, Reperti (2020), will be showcased at Palazzo Pescatori, while Corsini's Land will be placed beneath the museum's loggia. Established in March 2023, MACCA is Italy's inaugural public open-air contemporary art museum, evolving from a project started by Rita Selvaggio in 1991. Recent works added include a mural by Carol Rollo and Antonio Signorini's bronze Flying Horses, with both Corsini and Marrocco significantly enriching the museum's artistic offerings.
