MACA Alicante Opens 'Del color en el arte (Coloramas)' Exhibition
The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Alicante (MACA) will host an exhibition titled 'Del color en el arte (Coloramas)' from June 11 to September 13, 2026. This event will investigate the significance of color in artwork over the last 75 years. Organized in partnership with Fundación Juan March, which previously featured an exhibition on color autonomy in abstract art in Madrid in 2023, this showcase will include pieces from MACA’s own collection. Additionally, visitors can explore a cabinet of curiosities featuring items borrowed from the Real Fábrica de Tapices Santa Bárbara de Madrid and an interactive area for experimenting with color mixing, named 'Umbral cromático.'
