M+ Hong Kong Exhibition Explores Herzog & de Meuron's Design Process Across China
The M+ museum in Hong Kong is set to present an exhibition titled "Herzog & de Meuron: In Focus," featuring ten projects by the Swiss architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron in China. Scheduled to open on September 12, 2026, and continuing until January 2027, this event celebrates the museum's fifth anniversary. It will display over 200 materials, including models and sketches, and is curated by Ikko Yokoyama and Iris Ng, showcasing works from 2002 to 2021, such as Tai Kwun and the National Stadium. Inspired by the Kabinett foundation, the exhibition will utilize wooden vitrines. Additionally, M+ will offer architectural tours. Concurrently, the Power Station of Art in Shanghai will exhibit Lina Bo Bardi's work, while the ninth Oslo Architecture Triennale is scheduled for September 17 to October 1.
