Lunetta11's 'Back to Mine' Transforms Alta Langa into an Art Ecosystem

The 2026 edition of Buona Fortuna Ribelli, titled 'Back to Mine', curated by Lunetta11, turns the Alta Langa region of Italy into a diffuse cultural ecosystem. Founded in 2019 by Claudia Zunino and Francesco Pistoi, the project spans five municipalities, using abandoned churches, medieval chapels, gardens, and resorts as sites for contemporary art. This year's edition features works by historical figures such as Carla Accardi, Alberto Burri, Alighiero Boetti, Mario Schifano, Salvo, and Sergio Ragalzi, alongside emerging artists like Ismaele Nones, Edoardo Manzoni, and Sara Scanderebech. A dedicated section curated by Diletta Dogliani focuses on Sergio Ragalzi, exploring his 'Atomic Shadows' and 'Origins' cycles. Other interventions include Lorenzo Perini Natali's PROGETTO LUDOVICO with Romero Paprocki at the Cappella di San Sebastiano in Paroldo, Stefano Caimi's environmental works, and projects by Recontemporary featuring Nicole Oike and MATTA with thebackstudio. The initiative deliberately operates outside metropolitan art centers, emphasizing slow engagement and site-specific relationships.
