Lukas Wegwerth and Corinna Dehn Bring Shingle-Clad 'Companions' to Gallery Fumi
From 3 October to 28 November 2026, Gallery Fumi in London will showcase 'Companions', an exhibition featuring wooden furniture crafted by Lukas Wegwerth and Corinna Dehn at 2–3 Hay Hill. The display includes six new pieces from their 'Armadillo' collection, comprising two cabinets, a sideboard, a birdhouse, a dining table, and a screen, all adorned with wooden shingles that draw inspiration from animal scales and the architecture of Germany's Vogelsberg region. Wegwerth and Dehn began their collaboration with Gallery Fumi 13 years ago after meeting at the University of the Arts in Berlin. The wood used is sourced locally and processed at their sawmill. Selected works will also be part of Gallery Fumi's PAD from 13 to 18 October 2026.
