LuceForma at Galleria Borghini: Andrea Pinchi and Giulia Manfredi Sculpt Light and Shadow
From September 29 to October 25, 2026, the Galleria Borghini Contemporanearte in Rome (via Belsiana 92) will host 'LuceForma', a two-person exhibition curated by Francesca Briganti. The show juxtaposes the practices of Andrea Pinchi and Giulia Manfredi, two artists who treat light not as a scenic device but as a raw material to be sculpted, filtered, and measured. Pinchi presents layered works that move between painting, object, and luminous installation. His starting point is historical carbon paper, supports over a century old originally used for duplication and registration, which he reconverts into conceptual and pictorial diaphragms. The mechanism is simple yet effective: with the lamp off, his light boxes display an enigmatic and self-sufficient presence; once switched on, they reveal their full potential. The exhibition runs until October 25, 2026.
