LUCE Transforms Street Lamps into Textual Archive at La Fabra Centre d'Art Contemporani
In the main gallery of La Fabra Centre d'Art Contemporani in Barcelona, nine street lamps arranged in a curved formation create an urban atmosphere. The installation, named De cua d'ull, is the work of Valencian artist LUCE, who was born in 1989. It showcases phrases that reflect the messages people often attach to street furniture, highlighting the role of street lamps as platforms for advertisements and announcements. LUCE, whose artistic roots lie in graffiti, gathers words and images during his walks to inspire his creations. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the texts. This exhibit will be on display until January 10, 2027, and is part of Interludi#2, which includes a recital by Pol Guasch on October 29.
