Luca Trevisani's 'Kotykeye' Fossil Ceramics at Asger Jorn's Casa Museo in Albissola
At Casa Museo Jorn in Albissola Marina, Luca Trevisani's exhibition 'Kotykeye' presents highly porous ceramic sculptures derived from fossil footprints of a prehistoric family found in the Grotte di Toirano. The works were produced at La Casa dell'Arte with master ceramist Danilo Trogu, and are activated through performative banquets where food and organic substances alter the surfaces. Curated by BLU – Breeding and Learning Unit, the project won the Italian Council (XIII edition). Casa Jorn, originally the home of CoBrA co-founder Asger Jorn, is part of the MuDA (Museo Diffuso Albisola) managed by the Fondazione Museo della Ceramica di Savona. The exhibition runs until August 25, 2026, and will enter the permanent collection of Museo Madre in Naples. International presentations have taken place with FRAC Corsica and the Nacionalni muzej moderne umjetnosti in Zagreb, in collaboration with Museum Jorn in Silkeborg.
