Swedish designer Love Hultén has crafted the Magicos-2, a bespoke double-neck synthesizer guitar, drawing inspiration from the album cover of Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon.' Commissioned by a private individual, this instrument boasts a triangular body and two elongated playing arms, each equipped with a synthesis engine: a 1010music Tangerine module and a 1010music Lemondrop module. This setup enables the simultaneous manipulation of distinct sound sources for creating layered melodies and ambient sounds. The detachable trapezoidal base includes an effects section featuring a Walrus Audio Lore pedal and a Collision Devices TARs pedal. A striking illuminated rose quartz pyramid serves as the centerpiece, complemented by nine amber-hued controls on a white background. Hultén blends modern technology with retro-futuristic design.
