Louis Vuitton's Journey to China: Three New Fragrances Inspired by Chinese Culture

Louis Vuitton's Perfumes of the World collection continues with 'Journey to China', a new olfactory exploration of Chinese culture. Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud and his daughter Camille Cavallier Belletrud have created three fragrances—Tea Storm, Ink Mark, and Moon Tale—each drawing on different aspects of Chinese traditions and contemporary life. Tea Storm evokes an outdoor tea ceremony with notes of lemongrass, magnolia, and Grasse rose. Ink Mark is inspired by Chinese calligraphy and Shanghai's urban energy, featuring sandalwood and white incense. Moon Tale references Chinese opera and the legend of the Four Great Beauties, with raspberry, peony, and musks. The bottle, designed by Marc Newson, takes cues from Chinese snuff bottles, with lacquered caps and opalescent glass. A travel pouch and collector's miniature set complete the offering. The collection will be available starting September 10, 2026, in select Louis Vuitton stores and online.
