Lošbates Primary School by Pelletier De Fontenay and SOA Architekti Opens in Přezletice, Czechia

Slated for completion in 2024, the Lošbates Primary School in Přezletice, Czechia, spans 10,515 m² and is the brainchild of Canadian firm Pelletier de Fontenay and Czech studio SOA architekti. This initiative emerged from an international architectural contest, commissioned by the Lošbates Voluntary Association of Municipalities. Key architects include Hubert Pelletier, Ondřej Píhrt, Yann Gay-Crosier, Štefan Šulek, and Ondřej Laciga, with Dalibor Dvořák contributing as co-author. The building features a 5,140 m² footprint and a usable area of 9,450 m², emphasizing modern pedagogical approaches. Interior design was handled by Santal, while graphic design was created by Barbora Zachovalová. Engineering was managed by BKN, Porsenna, InGastro, VETOS Group, and TESKO konstrukce, with PKS stavby as the general contractor. The facade system was provided by PRUNIWERK, and notable manufacturers include Boen, Pedrali, Tarkett, and others.
