Lombardy Region invests €1 million in permanent Gio Ponti exhibition space at ADI Design Museum Milan

On April 15, 2026, Francesca Caruso, the culture assessor, and Umberto Cabini, president of the ADI Foundation, confirmed that the Lombardy Region will invest €1 million in a permanent exhibition for Gio Ponti at the ADI Design Museum in Milan. This initiative will create around 700 square meters of new exhibition space through a mezzanine, with construction slated to begin in summer 2026 and anticipated completion by December. The area will function as both a research center and an exhibition venue, linked to the Compasso d'Oro Collection, which features over 350 award-winning items since 1954. Admission will be free, aligning with ADI's commitment to public accessibility, and the signing was attended by notable figures like Federico Mollicone and Luciano Galimberti.
