Loft en Casa-Palacio: Flexible 68 m² Home Inside a Sevilla Casa-Palacio
In Seville's historic center, a 68 m² residence has been transformed into Loft en Casa-Palacio, under the guidance of Felipe Retuerto (architecture), DYO Studio (interiors), and project director Javier González. The redesign enhances the space's height and social interaction, reflecting the owner's habit of entertaining and the Semana Santa processions. The staircase was moved to the back, resulting in a seamless ground floor that connects the living room, dining area, and kitchen. A central furniture unit incorporates a washbasin, a foldaway bed, and sliding doors for the guest room. On the first floor, the main bedroom features a wooden lattice for added privacy. Loft en Casa-Palacio effectively merges daily living, social gatherings, and guest accommodations while honoring the building's historical significance.
