Locus Solus: Roma Calling 2025/2026 Final Event at Istituto Svizzero
On June 26, 2026, Istituto Svizzero will inaugurate its Rome location at Villa Maraini for Locus Solus. Anche le statue ricordano il futuro, the final event of the Roma Calling 2025/2026 residency program curated by Lorenzo Benedetti, will take place from 6 PM to midnight. This event investigates the interplay between history and the future, featuring works that merge historical documentation with imagination and transformation, particularly through statues that offer fresh interpretations of time. The spaces will be filled by the Roma Calling 2025/2026 Fellows as temporary participants. A live program is scheduled to commence at 6:30 PM, culminating in a DJ set by Sandra Mason from 10:30 PM until midnight. This marks the conclusion of CLOSE UP, a partnership between Flash Art Italia and Istituto Svizzero.
