Living Room 2026 Brings "Forcing Eutopias" to Cuneo's Historic Center

exhibition · 2026-10-05

On 9 October 2023, the historic center of Cuneo was transformed by four artists—Matteo Attruia, Federica Di Carlo, Giulia Poppi, and Lihi Turjeman—during the exhibition Living Room 2026, curated by Andrea Lerda under the title Forcing Eutopias. This initiative, organized by Art.ur, resulted from four artist residencies. The artworks were showcased at various locations, including ESSECI, Conservatorio Ghedini, Museo Diocesano, and Teatro Toselli. Lerda's writing links "eutopias" to the Greek words eû (good) and tópos (place). Attruia’s work draws inspiration from Vittorio Alfieri and Hieronymus Bosch, while Turjeman presented four pieces, one being a ten-meter canvas. Di Carlo created a 3D print of the Moon's dark side along with a custody letter, and Poppi incorporated feathers in the Chiesa di San Sebastiano.
