Little Troop Designs Family-Run Skincare Brand Bon Elliot with Visual References to Kubrick and Penn

architecture-design · 2026-04-15

New York design studio Little Troop created the visual identity for Bon Elliot, a new skincare brand founded by dermatologist Bonnie Fergie and her husband Jono Elliot. Co-founders Jeremy Elliot and Noemie Le Coz served as both designers and brand co-founders, marking their first time as clients. The project aimed to balance scientific credibility with luxury appeal, drawing inspiration from Stanley Kubrick's symmetry and Irving Penn's still-life photography. Packaging features minimal colors and transparent elements, while the logo combines the letters B and E into a symmetrical graphic representing skin layers. The launch campaign, photographed by Luca Ventor, references Penn's 1980s Clinique campaigns and early-2000s beauty imagery. Bon Elliot plans to launch its first product in 2026.
