Lissoni & Partners Completes Two Office Buildings at Budapest's Dürer Park
Lissoni & Partners, an architecture firm based in Milan, has finalized the construction of two office buildings at Dürer Park in Budapest, Hungary, marking the revitalization of a historic area into a mixed-use development, set to be completed in 2025. The project comprises Office Building 1 and Office Building 2, which were built almost concurrently. Featuring aluminum facades and poured concrete, the design honors the city's architectural heritage. Office Building 1 consists of three towers connected by a vault, utilizing 6-inch thick concrete slabs and tall glass curtains from Schüco. Meanwhile, Office Building 2 expands a monastery with three additional floors, incorporating a pitched roof and fritted glass for heat reduction. Collaborators included Lean-Tech, Studio This, S73 Studio, and Market Construction Co. Design architect Miguel Casal Ribeiro highlighted Budapest's willingness to embrace change.
