Lisa Yuskavage's Tenth David Zwirner Show Revisits Her Own Visual History
From May 14 to June 26, 2026, David Zwirner in New York will host an exhibition by Lisa Yuskavage, showcasing both new and recent paintings and works on paper. This marks her tenth solo exhibition with the gallery and commemorates two decades since her debut in 2006. The show features monumental pieces such as Endless Studio (portal) (2025) and Gigantic Studio, Act II (2026), alongside the more personal Easel Portrait (2025). It emphasizes her exploration of Color Field painting and introduces collage as a fresh medium. Additionally, the Night Classes in Color Theory series, which includes Lesson One: Green IV, V, VI, and VII, originates from her color studies during her time as an art student. This exhibition follows Lisa Yuskavage: Drawings at The Morgan Library & Museum, running from June 2025 to January 4, 2026.
