Lionel Messi Orders Sunreef Ultima 88 Catamaran for New Charter Fleet
Lionel Messi has ordered an Ultima 88 catamaran from Sunreef Yachts, following in the footsteps of clients such as Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz. This 88-foot vessel, which debuted in April 2023, offers the sleekness of a monohull paired with the stability of a multihull. Messi plans to incorporate it into MIM Ocean, his charter fleet managed by Med Cat Yachts, which currently consists of three smaller multihulls. The catamaran boasts a full-beam master suite, four guest cabins, spacious decks, and a flybridge, along with an ocean lounge featuring fold-out terraces and a garage for a Jet Ski. It will be powered by twin 1,000 hp engines, with options for diesel or hybrid propulsion, and is being constructed in the UAE. Messi expressed his excitement about becoming part of the Sunreef family.
