Lino Fiorito's Paintings and Ceramics at Segno Gallery

Segno Gallery in Milan presents an exhibition of Lino Fiorito's work, curated by Alessandra Pacelli, running until July 8. The show spans Fiorito's recent paintings and ceramics alongside canvases from the early 2000s, revealing a consistent thread of luminous abstraction. Works on canvas feature destabilizing geometric fields in orange, ochre, gray, and green, while horizontal green lines on light backgrounds evoke musical scores. Ceramic sculptures extend painting into three dimensions: saturated yellow volumes with blue veins, compact blocks with organic cavities. Fiorito's visual sensibility draws on over forty years of experience, including collaborations with Falso Movimento and Teatri Uniti, and set designs for filmmakers like Paolo Sorrentino. The exhibition emphasizes his painterly approach to space, where color becomes breath and light fragments.
