architecture-design · 2026-10-21

Linework Architecture has completed a substantial remodel and expansion of a modest 1940s single-family ranch house in northeast Seattle, a 2,250-square-foot project dated 2025. Ben Humphrey led the team, with Kevin Scott as photographer. The design centers on sustainability, durability, indoor-outdoor integration, and generational flexibility. Alchemie handled landscape architecture, Harriott Valentine Engineers provided structural engineering, and Ore Studios joined Linework Architecture on interior design. Linework Architecture also served as general contractor and architecture office. The project falls under the houses and renovation categories and is located in the United States.
