Leonid Furmansky photographs Oklahoma architecture in solo show

Photographer Leonid Furmansky, known for documenting Texas architecture, turns his lens to Oklahoma in a new solo exhibition at the University of Tulsa's North Gallery. The show, titled Finding Oklahoma, features 51 photographs taken during personal and professional trips across the state, focusing on Oklahoma City and Bartlesville. Furmansky captures structures such as Frank Lloyd Wright's Price Tower, Bruce Goff's projects, the Gold Dome, WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, the Lawton National Guard Armory, and Cityplex Towers in Tulsa. His work highlights unusual forms, elegant shapes, and recurring dome motifs, aiming to reveal Oklahoma's ambitious and experimental architectural identity.
