LEGO unveils largest Art Masterpiece set: Klimt's The Kiss

LEGO has announced its largest Art Masterpiece set to date: a brick-built reproduction of Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss" (1908-1909), created in collaboration with the Belvedere museum in Vienna. The set comprises 4,000 pieces and measures 60 cm high by 54 cm wide, making it the biggest in the collection. It will be available early for LEGO Insiders on August 1, 2026, and to the general public on August 4, 2026, priced at €299.99. The set features a wall-mounting system. Senior model designer Milan Madge noted the challenge of capturing the painting's textures, gold nuances, and geometric ornaments using LEGO bricks. Belvedere curator Stephanie Auer praised the synergy between Klimt's geometric forms and LEGO's modular system. A multi-episode podcast on YouTube and Spotify will explore the creative process. The set joins other art-themed LEGO sets including Van Gogh's "Sunflowers" (€199.99), Monet's "The Water Lily Pond" (€199.99), Van Gogh's "The Starry Night" (€179.99), and Keith Haring's "Dancing Figures" (€119.99). Separately, at the MuMa in Le Havre, as part of the Normandie Impressionniste 2026 festival, Ai Weiwei's "Water Lilies #1" and "#2" (2022) — each made of 650,000 LEGO bricks and over 15 meters long — are on display for the first time in France.
