Lego Signs Long-Term Partnership With Daft Punk, Pyramid Stage Set Due Next Year
Lego has announced a long-term partnership with the French electronic music duo Daft Punk. This collaboration was unveiled through a launch film that features their songs 'Voyager' and 'Human After All', displaying robotic minifigures traversing a holographic red brick road. Next year, a Lego set inspired by Daft Punk's iconic 'pyramid' stage from their 2007 Alive tour will be released, initiating a new series. The collaboration originated from Daft Punk's minifigure appearance in Pharrell Williams' 2024 biopic and a fan idea from Patrick Harboun, which won the 2020 Lego Ideas 'Music to Our Ears' contest. Cédric Hervet, the creative director, highlighted the meaningful connection between the two brands and the importance of the pyramid set.
