Leandro Erlich's 'Hybrids' at Negozio Olivetti Challenges Perceptual Categories

Leandro Erlich's solo exhibition titled 'Hybrids' debuted at the Negozio Olivetti in Venice as part of the 61st Venice Biennale, which is scheduled from May 9 to November 22, 2026. The exhibition, curated by Marcello Dantas and conceptualized by Mario Cristiani, is produced by Associazione Arte Continua in collaboration with FAI and Galleria Continua. Erlich's sculptures delve into the theme of hybridization, challenging the distinctions between the natural and the artificial. The historic Negozio Olivetti, crafted by Carlo Scarpa, acts as a dynamic participant. The collection features works that encapsulate various temporalities. Recently, Erlich launched a retrospective at the Grand Palais in Paris and is set to unveil a new solo exhibition at Galleria Xippas in September. Born in Argentina in 1973, he resides in Paris, Buenos Aires, and Montevideo.
