Last Surviving Wallace Neff Airform House Lists for $2M in Pasadena

Now available for just under $2 million in Pasadena is the final remaining Airform house designed by Wallace Neff, an innovative dome home constructed in 1946 for his brother Andrew. Neff, recognized for creating residences for Hollywood icons such as Judy Garland and Douglas Fairbanks, developed the Airform to address the housing shortage following World War II. The unique design process involved inflating a large balloon, encasing it in steel mesh, applying gunite concrete, and then deflating it—drawing inspiration from a soap bubble while shaving. Recently updated by sellers Priya Girishankar, a media and marketing professional, and tech executive Damon Cleckler, the home retains its distinctive features, including a circular living room with a sculptural fireplace, a kitchen, one bedroom, an office, and a bathroom.
