Larissa Sansour's First Dutch Solo Exhibition at Wereldmuseum Amsterdam

Palestinian artist Larissa Sansour presents 'Rogue Agents of History', her first solo exhibition in the Netherlands, at Wereldmuseum Amsterdam. The show runs until 27 September 2026 and features film, installation, photography, personal artefacts, and historical objects. Sansour uses science fiction to explore Palestinian histories, memory, and identity. Three major film works are included, among them the newly commissioned 'A Sunken Tale of Losses Delayed'. The exhibition moves across the Ottoman era, contemporary occupation, and imagined futures, challenging linear time and official narratives. Sansour's work is described as poetic and politically charged, positioning her as a vital contemporary voice.
