Lara Lussheimer, an artist, showcased 'CAUTION WET FLOOR', a six-hour performance on Insola's floating platform in Berlin's River Spree. This piece shifts the mundane act of mopping to a setting where it lacks practical purpose, turning it into an endless, cyclical task. Throughout the six hours, Lussheimer continuously wets the floor, mops it, sets up a warning sign, and waits for it to dry before repeating the process. The performance explores the conflict between habitual work and the quest for order, emphasizing the persistence of repetitive tasks and the boundaries of control. The surrounding water enhances the sense of futility. Karacho Berlin captured the project with drone footage, while Dennis Schnieber provided analogue footage.
