Laila Gohar Designs Highland Park Whiskey Packaging for "Between You and I" Series
In a collaboration with Highland Park, artist Laila Gohar has created a 17-year-old single malt as part of the "Between You and I" series, characterized by flavors of orange blossom, warm spices, and leather. Originally from Egypt and currently residing in New York, Gohar developed two unique packaging designs illustrated by Silja Goetz. The lighter version showcases floral and archway motifs, while the darker, travel-exclusive edition features hand-drawn eyes and lips. Gohar's approach to this project was shaped by her childhood memories in Egypt and her time in southern Spain, aiming to express that whiskey is for all, ideally enjoyed neat among friends in a garden setting.
