LAIDA's Interactive Installation 'SKIN THE ARCHITECT' at Tallinn Architecture Biennale

The Latvian Union of Architecture and Design (LAIDA) has created an interactive installation titled 'SKIN THE ARCHITECT' in response to the theme of this year's Tallinn Architecture Biennale: 'HOW MUCH?'. The installation is on display at the Wise venue in the Krulli district, with the space sponsored by real estate developer Invego. At the center of the installation is a stylized metal bust of an architect, measuring 2.2 meters in height and 1.7 meters in width. The bust is not a portrait of a specific person but rather a representation of the profession itself. It is covered with multiple layers of architectural drawings, forming the symbolic skin of the architect.
