Laboratorium Coffee Shop in Cluj-Napoca Restores Historic Pharmacy Interior
Laboratorium Coffee Shop, designed by EktraArhitectura, opened in 2025 on the ground floor of Palatul Széki in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The 100 m² space, formerly the Matia Corvin Pharmacy, underwent restoration led by Tulogdy László. Interior design by Fain Design Studio, wood restoration by Unicom - Balla Csaba, painting restoration by Mednyánszky Zsolt, Mednyánszky Anna-Mária, Csüdöm Eszter, Szőcs János, and Szántó Tamás. Stainless steel objects by Borodi Design. The building is one of four corner structures from the late 19th century marking the city center threshold.
