LaBoqueria and Munarq Design Son Ferriol Health Centre in Palma de Mallorca

architecture-design · 2026-10-16

A 2,500 m² health centre in Son Ferriol, Palma de Mallorca, is set for completion in 2026, designed by LaBoqueria Arquitectura together with Munarq. The project, curated by Valentina Díaz, was submitted by the design team and published on ArchDaily, with photography by Ricard López. IBSalut is the client. The architects frame the scheme around a single question: how a building made to care for people can also care for its surroundings, its materials and its own future. Structural engineering comes from Miguel Nevado, while Esther Boluda handled measurements and budgets and QNTM-management led environmental sustainability. Marc Gispert served as consulting architect. Materials and products were supplied by Fetdeterra and Madergia. The scheme falls under the architecture-for-health and health-centre categories, and an English-language version of the project text is available.
