La Panera Centre d'Art Opens Second Semester 2026 Program

exhibition · 2026-06-03

La Panera Centre d'Art in Lleida has launched its second exhibition block of 2026, running from June 13 to October 4. The program features four projects across different spaces of the building, focusing on research processes, artistic methodologies, material practices, and contemporary narrative devices. On the ground floor, 'Todo por la Praxis. Un jardí extraordinari,' curated by Andrea Pacheco González, presents a politically charged garden metaphor exploring borders, social exclusion, and the right to housing, led by Chilean artist Jo Muñoz and architect-artist Diego Peris López. On the first floor, 'Mariona Moncunill. En els dies tempestuosos [un mètode],' curated by Manuela Pedrón Nicolau, investigates knowledge construction about territories, applying her method to the Lleida region, including the Urgell canal and hailstorms. In the Espai miniPanera, 'Martina Rogers. L’escalf de les coses belles,' curated by Helena Ayuso, features ceramic amulets and objects exploring magic and affect. In the Centre de Documentació, 'Mariona Moncunill. Les dames de la llum,' curated by ferranElOtro, uses data visualization to transform editorial production into an exhibition structure. The projects address urgent contemporary issues such as inequality, borders, cultural construction of nature, classification systems, and childhood, through installation, archive, data visualization, sound, video, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and publication.
