La DoubleJ Spring 2027 Ready-to-Wear: JJ Martin's Palazzo Clerici Show

other · 2026-09-25

At the Palazzo Clerici in Milan, JJ Martin unveiled her La DoubleJ Spring 2027 ready-to-wear line. The relatively new brand has recently established a flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York. This collection, created in collaboration with model Carolyn Murphy, showcased a mix of stripes, a black and white baby polka dot design, solid colors, and floral patterns. Martin aimed to capture a sense of lightness, inspired by the recent heat waves in Europe. Instead of feathers, feather prints were used, and tassels and fringe were omitted. The airy silhouettes featured capes, appealing to both mothers and daughters, along with distinctive embroidered drawstring pochettes. "Once a maximalist, always a maximalist," Martin remarked.
