LA Climate Week's Arts and Culture Day Unites Artists and Environmentalists at Sky Portal X

Arts and Culture Day for a Living Planet, a central event of LA Climate Week, will be held on Saturday April 11, 2026, at Sky Portal X in Los Angeles. The day-long program from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. features workshops, live performances, panel talks, and creative installations exploring environmental themes. Marine biologist and artist Havilah Abrego will exhibit her large-scale whale paintings, while Gregg Fleishman presents his functional art exhibition ANTIDOTE. Organized in collaboration with numerous groups including Artful Impact, Better Earth Media, and Creative Migration, the event aims to demonstrate how creativity can inspire climate action. LA Climate Week, which began on April 8, 2026, continues with community-led events until April 15. The gathering specifically highlights emerging creatives who connect climate science with artistic practice, bringing together artists, filmmakers, storytellers, climate organizations, and the Los Angeles community.
