KUSKA Residence by Taller MACAA to Complete in 2026 as Andes Retreat for Writer and Artisan
The KUSKA Residence is a 400 m² mixed-use project being developed by Taller MACAA, with completion set for 2026. Its name comes from the Quechua word "kuska," meaning "together," reflecting its purpose as a home for a writer and an artisan. Additionally, it will be a welcoming space for their friends, family, and artists visiting them. The architects wanted to create an environment that stands in stark contrast to city life, with Rafael Ortiz Santos leading the design and capturing the project through photography. Valentina Díaz took care of the presentation. You can check out the design on ArchDaily, which also has a Spanish version available.
