Kurppa Hosk Builds Alleima's Industrial Identity From Molten Orange and Steel Blue

architecture-design · 2026-10-22

After three years of work, the Stockholm-based studio Kurppa Hosk has developed a new visual identity for Alleima, a metallurgy firm that emerged from Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT). This rebranding features a unique emblem, crafted in Illustrator, which transforms a sharp capital A into a curved left leg and a pointed diagonal stem, reminiscent of bent strip steel. The studio also launched Alleima Neurial in multiple weights, accompanied by a color scheme that includes Molten Orange (#FF5532), Dark Steel Blue (#0F232E), Iron Red (#872823), White, and Titanium Grey (#E1E1E1). Technical binders incorporate Molten Orange accents, while shipping crates are marked with stenciled Dark Steel Blue lettering. The project is displayed on Behance.
