KPMB Architects has finalized a wood-accented office for Henein Hutchison Robitaille (HHR), a litigation law firm based in Toronto, which has moved from an older facility to the East Tower of the Bay Adelaide Centre, a structure designed by KPMB that was inaugurated in 2016. Spanning 22,000 square feet, the office encourages teamwork and comfort, featuring curved corridors, perimeter offices, and supportive areas. Vertical oak fins and clear glass partitions form a 'garden wall' that enhances light and privacy. Acoustic panels help mitigate sound, while Millworks Custom Manufacturing executed the millwork. The lobby boasts a vaulted ceiling, and the client area showcases stone-clad circular shapes. Additionally, the office links to Toronto's underground pedestrian tunnels for convenient court access.
