Kostia Brings Solo Show "Entre deux" to Comédie Montorgueil

Kostia performs his one-man show "Entre deux" at the Comédie Montorgueil. The production examines contemporary masculinity, asking what it means to be a man today. According to the press material, the comedian frames his subject through a series of oppositions: between husband and father, romance and bachelorhood, feminism and patriarchy, the modern man and the man plain and simple. The show's promotional text invokes a provocative image of masculinity, citing yoga in pink leggings and a mauve crop top, a sperm delivery by scooter, and a mother who calls every ten minutes. Kostia is described as relying on natural bonhomie, well-observed characters, an innate rapport with audiences, and an ability to make everyday life laugh-out-loud funny. The press release characterizes him as an endearing artist and promises a feel-good performance about the world around him, which he is beginning to decipher. The piece is a solo stage work in which, per the source, men recognize themselves and women see that he is starting to understand. The event is a partner event of the Club Artistik Rezo. The announcement was distributed by press release and published by Artistikrezo.
