Korean Air unveils KRW 110bn lounge overhaul at Incheon Airport
Korean Air has finalized a 42-month renovation of its lounge facilities at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2, investing KRW 110 billion. The lounge area has expanded from 5,105 sq m to 12,270 sq m, with seating capacity increasing from 898 to 1,566. Designed by LTW Designworks under Teo Su Seam, the seven new lounges include First Class, Miler Club, and two Garden lounges, showcasing elements of Korean architecture. Culinary experiences are curated by chef Kim Sea-kyeong. The First Class Lounge boasts luxury tableware, while the Prestige West Lounge is the largest at 2,615 sq m. This renovation follows Korean Air's acquisition of a two-thirds stake in Asiana Airlines in 2025 and marks its first brand refresh since 1984.
