kooo architects completes House in Narutaki near Kyoto

kooo architects, led by Shinya Kojima and Ayaka Kojima, has completed the House in Narutaki, a 323 m² renovation project in a tranquil area near central Kyoto. The site is located along the foothills of a wooded mountainside, surrounded by maple and cherry trees that provide seasonal scenery. The design team included Yukako Komoto, with Azp Inc. as general contractor, Uetoh zohen Co., Ltd. and Inada Landscape for landscape architecture, and Noda Print Studio for fusuma.
