Kerstin Thompson Architects Designs Clyde Creek Primary School in Melbourne
Kerstin Thompson Architects has completed Clyde Creek Primary School (CCPS) in Melbourne's southeastern growth corridor, part of the New Schools 2022 Bundle B package. The 4,320 m² campus, finished in 2022, is organized around a central 'civic heart'—a shared gathering, outdoor learning, and play space. The design balances template efficiencies with site-specific conditions, fully embracing the Victorian School Building Authority's four educational principles. The project team included Kerstin Thompson, Anastasia Sklavakis, Leo Showell, and others. Photographs were taken by Dan Preston, and Hutchinson Builder served as the builder. The school is located in a new residential suburb, addressing the needs of a growing community.
