Keith Haring: A World in Motion Opens at 60 White in New York

A new exhibition called "Keith Haring: A World in Motion" has opened at 60 White in New York, running from May 14 to September 8, 2026. Lio Malca is curating this show, which showcases Haring's global impact. It features works from his 1985 New York–Tokyo Sister Cities project, the 1984 Paris Métro piece at Alma–Marceau station, and the 1986 DV8 mural in San Francisco. One of the highlights is a recreated version of the DV8 nightclub, complete with Haring's 1985 murals, immersive displays, and glow-in-the-dark elements. Also included is his 1985 acrylic work "Sister Cities – For Tokyo." Malca emphasized Haring's universal appeal, while critic Carlo McCormick pointed out his deep engagement with the world. The venue, built in 1869 and redesigned by studioMDA, had previously hosted a Kenny Scharf exhibition in 2024.
