KEEN's Nocturnal Pack: Black Leather Versions of UNEEK Loafer and Newport Oxford

KEEN, the Portland-based footwear brand known for its hybrid sandals, is launching Nocturnal Pack, a limited-edition collection featuring two silhouettes in all-black leather. The collection includes the UNEEK Loafer and the Newport Oxford, both reimagined with premium leather uppers sourced from Leather Working Group-certified tanneries. This marks a departure from KEEN's signature use of cord, which has been central to its identity since the introduction of UNEEK in 2014. The Nocturnal Pack maintains the brand's hybrid structure, blending adventure sandal and city shoe aesthetics, a concept first established with the original Newport in 2003. The UNEEK Loafer transforms the original two-cord sneaker into a hand-stitched and braided loafer, featuring a leather upper, lining, and insole, along with a new hybrid rubber sole that preserves the model's characteristic lightness. The Newport Oxford retains the open structure of the sandal but shifts it toward a more urban context with its black leather upper, making it suitable for transitional seasons and office wear. Blaine Conrad, Vice President of Product at KEEN, stated that Nocturnal Pack represents a new form of versatility for the brand, rooted in outdoor tradition but expressed through premium materials and sophisticated design, aiming to offer refined yet accessible models for daily use from morning to evening. The collection will be available starting August 27, 2026, on KEEN's official website and at select retailers.
