Kazy Usclef to Paint New Mural at M.U.R. Bastille in Paris

On September 13, 2026, Kazy Usclef, a French artist, will reveal a new temporary mural at M.U.R. Bastille, situated at 38 rue de la Roquette in Paris's 11th arrondissement. Titled "L'attente de M.Solon," the mural will be crafted on-site from September 9 to 13, 2026. It portrays a woman blending into the lavish decor of an affluent home, with a white cat watching, creating an atmosphere of quiet observation. The unveiling is scheduled for 3 PM during the M.U.R. Bastille #17 vernissage, where Usclef will sign the piece. Following this, a discussion with art historian Cyrille Gouyette at Bastille Optic will occur at 3:30 PM. Thirty hand-embellished lithographs will be available for pre-order at €200 until September 12, then €250, with proceeds supporting artist fees. Usclef joins a lineage of contributors to the M.U.R. Bastille, including artists like Madame and Andrea Ravo Mattoni, highlighting the venue's significance in Paris's street art scene.
